By the way, the "It's scary" post is me, Shan.

Very Nice. When I stare at the flame the surrounding area seems to increase in brightness ... not sure if you planned that but this is very cool.

It is really neat. I like this one a lot. Can't figure out why. It's interesting that there was a huge fire here that just started in the mountains outside Ft. Collins recently.

The outline of the front mountain can be seen in front of the fire, but you can't tell other than the light of the fire that there are two mountains...neat to see how light illumines what naturally goes unseen.

This is SO awesome in light of what you told me the other day - very cool! If I didn't know the inspiration, I would've thought of cave men trying to have a little warmth in the cold mountains.

Thanks for the comments. Shan: Yeah I agree, it is pretty intimidating.
Rich: I didn't plan it that way, though I did really try to portray the brightness around so it stands out. Loren: Yeah, that outline in the front was to give it depth. There are definitely some spiritual implications there...Pete: Hehe, cave men, that's great. I'm glad you're able to see it in that light.
