This is great! Nice work! My only nit-picky comment would be that I would omit the hard black lines on separation between the bright light & shadows and between the wall paper colors. I'd also add a bit more detail such as debis of stucco from the wall with the railing,(by the staircase, some dust bunnies, debris on the wood floor, and maybe some footprints in the dusty floor leading to the lighted room. It'd give it more mystery/curiosity as to who might be in the other room. I'd add more overall grime to the walls & floors too just to give it more character. The wall sconce with the candle is cool, but it doesn't feel like it's part of the scene because of the architecture and also the color. If you want to keep it there, my suggestion is to add more of a greyish blue hue to the arched wall and scones to tie it in to the rest of the room. BG's are just as much a "character" as the characters running through them, so have fun with it! Great job!
